My problem is that the board doesn’t even flip a bit at all it’s just like a rocketed ollie
I might be able to help you if you could send me a video on UA-cam or IG. Thanks.
Pls do 360 flip vid
fucking genius
Just found out this channel. Just WOW ! I’m learning hellflip and was wondering why the board was landing alway on the side ! The hips !
omg I have been to this skate park, it´s in Tokyo, right?
Dang this is the kind of content i needed back when i used to skate when i was younger but nothing like this existed 😭 oh well
that primo in the beginning mustve sucked
awesome content
Very good mate
Thanks for the visit
No for this trick tip for me
this video was by far the biggest asset to being able to land my first kickflip. tysm!
want to know some really interesting physics? so the board is balanced, but also with areas of higher mass. when you press down on tail or nose it adds and uneven amount of inertia into the board. the lifted truck has more rotational momentum based inertia, which actually make it physically "heavier" than the other truck. the "lighter" truck then being able to leveraged up using the axis point of the highest mass. which isn't actually in the center and why good flips and ollies are caught with the back foot pointing down. front foot determines lowest height, but back end should be higher and press to the foot there can be a drag, but the flip comes from flipping through the pocket, which curves over your foot at a certain angle, an to the side of the highest mass of the high mass area i.e. the baseplate. if you flip it before the truck it rockets, on or just past will go kind of even, and extended out will actually get leverage on the axis point and rise to your back foot forcefully. if you do it right, you preserve or redirect some of the rotation based inertia up while still leveraging the flip off the side of the highest mass of the reference frame. hardest part is learning to pick you feet up again. if entropy takes over or you bleed too much inertia, them tricks either don't work or are messed up. it's the basis for tricks like nollie front foot flips i.e. initial leverage to inertia juggle leverage to inertia juggle flip...
I asked for this about two months ago on the kick flip video and you delivered 🙏🏾thank you brother
Yep. Explains why when i try and pop to hard front foot doesnt flip it
Am I the only one that does heelflips by stomping it with my heel? I see a lot of people flicking the board with their toes.
thank you so much! i just started skateboarding 2 days ago and i was able to land a ollie not exactly a clean perfect form but enough to produce a ollie. your tutorials are detailed and amazing for any beginner out there trying to learn! cant wait to learn new tricks from you. 🙌🙌
Wow! My board is landing behind my heels usually and now I know why! Thank you so much ❤🤗 I will try to be on my heels side
Thank you! After years of failed attempts I can now kickflip 9/10 tries. ❤❤❤
👏👏👏👏
Ugly ahh kickflip, and it looks like you deliberately stomped tf out of it
Subscribed. High quality content. Very nice!!
毎回参考に練習させていただいてます(^^♪ありがとうございます👍

Easy to understand👍thank you!!
For starters, hang your toe-side of your front shoe off your board, not your heel-side as in the thumbnail.
just found this randomly, your ability to anylize skateboarding is pretty good. people dont think about hip position enough in skateboarding.
Awesome
Awesome. Thanks brother
🔥
I land on my nose after turning my board sometimes the tail lifts up and my body weight leans towards the nose or in my Ollie my front food lands so far apart from my back foot, on the nose. And sometimes my nose lands first after it turns please make a video or give me some tips it would be a life saver
Would you mind sending me a video here? whythetrick@gmail.com You can also find me on Instagram, X. Or upload a video on UA-cam and share it with me please.
thank u so much lil chigga, luv u
hellll nahhh they made skateboarding for nerds
that’s fire !!!
Guys. Just practice it a lot, flicking with your pinky toe and jumping very, very high, regardless of your posture. It'll work eventually
~ 1:30 was an eye opener, directing your pop more directly down. thanks. subscribed.
I started leaning back with weight on my heels and immediately came closer to landing on it, slight toe drag but saw the difference. I wouldn't of thought of that, thanks
I ain’t ever seen nobody heelflip like dat😂😂😂
It looks like your trucks are too loose compared to your board control. Go faster! Skate more, practice your pop and timing.
dam i jsut thought i was fat 😶😶
😂😂
Hardflip tutorial maybe? 😎😎
Is there a video yet on the science behind feebles and smiths? Especially backside smiths and front feebles on rails and how to lock them in because mine always slip to front board or back lip slide on rails.
Thanks man! Hopefully i will be able to heelflip like Kairi Netsuke now!!
Great break down. I think I can get them now. Thanks for the upload!
does this hip thing apply to kfs?
Not really. Please refer to this video. m.ua-cam.com/video/LU1gFzIoMgA/v-deo.html
Just to be annoying could you analyse how neen Williams heelfelips work? The guy has the best heelflips
Great video! I'm gunna give the hip position more focus next time I heelflip I think that's a brilliantly helpful observation.
It always goes behind me 😢
more confusing than anything else... downvote i learned nothing, the animations where even off lol
I feel like this will help so much
another BANGER
3:17 Your back foot killed the rebound of the pop since you didn't bring your back foot fast enough after pushing down --> This also lowers the angle of the nose so you don't get as much contact with the front foot and little overall height with the trick. I first experienced this with ollies but it's def connected to all pop tricks.
I experience this before too. Sometimes i'd jump too slowly or not retract my back foot fast enough so my tail can have enough room to bounce off the ground and it ended up giving me a really sluggish ghost pop.
